Application Deadline

• Applications must be received by 11:59pm EST on July 9, 2012.
• Addenda, supplemental materials, changes, or updates will not be accepted after the deadline.
• Notification of Awards recipients will be in September 2012.

How to Apply

Applications are to be submitted to Pfizer through an online submission website. Please click on the link below to be routed to Pfizer’s global investigator-initiated research website. Click on “Submit an IIR Request” and follow the online instructions. If this is your first time visiting the portal you must first “Create an Account”.

Applicants must select 2012 ASPIRE Vaccine-US from the dropdown list of Competitive Grants Programs

Required Documents

Completed application forms must be accompanied by the following documents:

• • A letter of nomination from the sponsoring department chairman, division director or equivalent which clearly names the applicant’s mentor
  for the project
• Cover letter on institution or practice letterhead
• CV (NIH biosketch format, no more than 4 pages) for both applicant and mentor
• Remove any personal information from CV (such as your home contact information, birth date, tax ID number or medical license number. Your business contact information should be the only contact information on your CV)
• The 3 most relevant articles from the applicant’s scientific publications (if applicable)
• If applicable listing of other research support with a description of overlap and, a listing of consenting collaborators (including CVs)
• Bibliography of relevant references
• Itemized budget for proposed research
